If this is the first time you have used the online preflight & FTP upload facility you will have to download the client application to your desktop. (See the links). Simply uncompress the file and install onto the desktop of your work station. After you have obtained the client application you will not need to return to this page.

Once the client is installed just drag & drop the file (files) to check onto the Markznet application icon. On first run you may need to tell the Markznet applcation the location of your web browser. This will connect to our server and commence the checking procedure. After the initial verification of the file your web browser will launch and you will be presented with a simple form to complete and submit. The preflighting procedure will then continue.

If any errors are found you will be presented with a report. There are two types of warning, the first is a yellow warning which will still allow you to submit your files but makes you aware of a potential problem that you may like to fix. The second is a red error which will prevent you from submitting your file until the problem has been rectified.

Assuming all is well, then your file, along with the job ticket, will be delivered via FTP to our server. If your file exceeds 20MB in size then you will be offered the opportunity to save to disk instead. The time required to complete the checks will vary according to the number of pages and complexity of the file, the operation is however largely carried out in the background so there may appear to be no activity for much of the time, please be patient. You can abort the procedure at any point.
